Hi, I’m Rui. I design AI products for complex workflows.
Right now I'm designing Parambil, an AI platform to turn medical complexity into courtroom clarity.
I'm also a product designer at NetBrain, focusing on AI features on the network automation platform.
When I was in McKinsey, I've led the design of a best-in-class advanced analytics platform for a F500 healthcare client.
Outside of work, I spend a lot of time in national parks with my camera, mostly capturing wildlife and landscapes. I also enjoy building LEGO, collecting Hot Wheels, and experimenting with vibe coding.
My favorite gear includes a MacBook Pro, a Keychron keyboard, and a Magic Mouse. For photography, I shoot with a Nikon Z8 and my 100-400mm, and I just added a 600mm f/6.3 for wildlife.
Earlier in my career, I've designed quite a few physical products, from Alibaba's database appliance to award-winning bench.
